Activity library

Your activity library is the list of places and experiences your tours include: castles, distilleries, walks, ferries, hotels and more. AI itineraries are built only from this library, so it's the most important thing to set up first.

What to import

The best sources are:

  • sample day-by-day itineraries you've sent clients before;
  • individual tour pages from your website.

A homepage on its own usually doesn't describe enough places. You can combine several sources in one import.

Import activities

Go to Activities in the sidebar. You can add sources three ways:

  1. Find pages from your website: enter your domain, for example yourtourcompany.com, and click Find pages. Tick the tour pages you want, then click Add as sources.
  2. Fetch a single page: paste a page URL and click Fetch. Fetching web pages is best-effort, so if a page doesn't come through well, copy and paste its text instead.
  3. Paste text: paste text straight into a source box. Click Add another source for more.

When your sources are ready, click Extract activities. AI reads them and turns each place into a structured activity.

Review and save

Before anything is saved, you review every activity. Each one has:

  • Name and Category, such as castle, distillery, walk, loch, ferry or accommodation. The category sets the icon on itineraries.
  • Location and Duration.
  • Description and Guide tip. These are used word-for-word on itineraries, so edit them to sound like you.
  • Keywords: comma-separated words that help match activities to a booking's destinations. Include the town or region.
  • Website URL.

Remove anything you don't want, then click Save activities. The save report tells you how many were saved and why any were skipped:

  • a missing name;
  • a duplicate within the import;
  • already in your library, in which case the existing activity is kept;
  • a category that isn't allowed.

Skipped activities stay on screen so you can fix them and save again.

Your library

Below the import tools, Your activity library lists everything you've saved, with a search box. The library is used by:

  • Generate Itinerary, which builds days only from library activities;
  • Insert from library in the itinerary editor;
  • the Generate description button, which uses your library text when the name matches.

To remove an activity, click its trash icon. To update one, delete it and import the corrected version.
