Quick start
Get from a new account to your first shareable itinerary in about half an hour. This guide covers signing up, signing in, and the four setup steps on your dashboard.
Get access
TravelSpurt is invite-only right now. To get an account, request access or email hello@travelspurt.org, and we'll set you up. Once you've been invited, follow the steps below to sign in.
Signing in and your email code
For security, TravelSpurt asks for a one-time code every time you sign in, on top of your password.
- Go to app.travelspurt.org/login, enter your email and password, and click Sign In. You can also use Google.
- We email you a 6-digit code. Enter it on the Check Your Email screen and click Verify.
- The code expires after 10 minutes. If it has expired or never arrived, click Resend code. You can request a new code once every 60 seconds.
Once verified, you stay verified for 8 hours. After that TravelSpurt emails you a fresh code and asks for it again, even if you're still signed in.
Forgotten your password?
On the sign-in screen click Forgot Password?, enter your email and click Send Link. If an account exists, you'll get an email with a link to set a new password. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive within a few minutes.
Name your organisation first
Signing up creates a new organisation for you called My Organisation. Before anything else, open Settings (bottom of the sidebar) and fill in:
- Legal name, plus a trading name if you use one. This is what clients see.
- Booking ref prefix: up to 8 letters, such as
ABC. Booking references look likeABC-2026-001. - Email: client replies and your booking notifications go to this address.
You can't create bookings until a booking ref prefix is saved. Each prefix is unique across TravelSpurt, so if yours is already taken, pick a variation.
The Getting started checklist
Your Dashboard opens with a Getting started card showing four steps and a progress bar. Anything still missing is shown as a small chip under the step. The card disappears once all four steps are done, and you can collapse it with the arrow at any time.
| Step | What to do | Where |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Complete your business profile | Add your address, phone, VAT number and logo. These appear on every invoice and itinerary you send. | Settings |
| 2. Set up your itinerary content | Add your tagline, the Wee Note (the small print shown on itineraries) and What's included. | Settings |
| 3. Build your activity library | Import the places your tours visit. AI-generated itineraries are built only from this library. | Activities |
| 4. Create your first booking | Add a booking so you can generate itineraries, invoices and other documents. | Bookings |
Start with step 3. The activity library is what makes AI itineraries accurate. A booking with no activities to draw from produces a thin itinerary.
The product tour
The first time you sign in, a short guided tour points out Bookings, Fleet & Compliance, Activities, Settings and your setup checklist. Use Next and Back to move through it, or close it at any time. To see it again, click Take a tour on the Getting started card.
Your first itinerary, end to end
- Import activities. On Activities, paste a sample itinerary or fetch your tour pages, then click Extract activities and save them. How importing works.
- Create a booking. Click Bookings → New booking. Paste the enquiry email or call transcript into the import panel to fill the form automatically, then click Create booking.
- Move it to Quoted. Documents unlock once a booking is past Enquiry. Change the status on the Edit page, or drag the card on the Kanban board.
- Generate the itinerary. Open the booking and click Generate Itinerary in the Documents card. Review and tweak the days in the itinerary editor.
- Share it. Click Copy Itinerary Link and send it to your client. Turn on Show price on itinerary first if you want them to accept the quote online.
